PARTIZAN BC partner with BLOCKSPORT to launch Fan App, Fan Token and NFTs

One of the most successful basketball clubs in Europe with 48 trophies and most notably the European
Champion trophy at the Final Four of the EuroLeague in Istanbul in 1992 is the first basketball club in the world embracing the power of blockchain technology, digitalisation, and tokenization by signing a 5-year partnership with Swiss-based Sports Tech company Blocksport. The partnership aims to develop new digital ways for fans to be more involved with the club starting with the launch of a new interactive app for fans which will see engagement and digitalization for PARTIZAN BC fans reach a new level. The first stage of the multi-year partnership will feature the launch of Partizan’s own Fan App to engage clubs’
fans with unique gamification features like fan voting, chats, predictions, and a fan rating system, as well as
many other benefits. It will create a unique digital space for all fans and in parallel also the launch of a Fan
Token and NFTs as Partizan BC closely work with Blocksport to evaluate and enter the world of blockchain

What is a utility fan token?

Utility fan tokens are digital assets that give sports fans a unique ‘money can’t buy’ experience by purchasing clubs’ fan tokens which in return offer those fans special benefits in relation to their beloved club or athlete including poll voting on the certain club and team-related decisions but more importantly the special and privileged status when it comes down to the direct engagement between fans and clubs. SSP Esports to launch NFT and Fan Token on Blocksport platform

Salford Red Devils partner with Blocksport to launch Fan App, Fan Token and NFTs

British 6-time champion and Rugby League Challenge Cup winner Salford Red Devils are partnering with Swiss-based Sports Tech company Blocksport. The partnership aims to develop new digital ways for fans to be more involved with the club beginning with the launch of a new interactive app for supporters which will see engagement and digitalization for Red Devils fans reach a new level. 

 The first stage of the multi-year partnership will be the launch of the Fan App to engage clubs’ fans with unique gamification features like fan voting, chats, predictions, and a fan rating system. It will create a unique digital space for all fans. 

The partnership will then extend to the launch of a Fan Token and NFTs as the Red Devils work with Blocksport to evaluate and enter the world of blockchain technologies.

The co-operation will see the creation of a content thread helping fans to understand the uses of blockchain technology, and in particular, the Fan Token and NFT offering that will be created to support and enhance a new engagement ecosystem underpinned by the new Fan App. 

NFTs are non-fungible unique digital items like photos, videos, cards, and collectibles that can be identified by the code written in the blockchain. Fan Tokens are not about collecting exclusive items, they give fans all over the world an opportunity to vote for important decisions in clubs’ life like jersey design and can be exchanged for unique fan experiences and merchandise.

The new COO is a former senior executive of finance, telecom, aviation, and tech businesses, former Chairman of the football club, investor, and entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience in Asia and the Balkans region.
