Thank you for visiting Blocksport or interacting with us using our multiple online channels (mobile apps, e-mails, Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, etc).

At Blocksport we understand that protecting the privacy of visitors to our website is very important. This Policy explains when and why we collect personal information about people who use our apps or website, how we use it, the conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.

We treat your personal data according to laws of the EU, of Switzerland and other applicable local laws which regulate the storage, process, access and transfer of personal information.

How do we collect information from you?

What type of information is collected from you?

The personal information we collect might include your name, surname and email address in order to see how often and how exactly you are using the app in order to improve our app and offer you personalized and relevant information.

How is your information used?

We may use your information to:

  • Seek your views or comments on any information provided through our app;
  • Notify you of changes to our app and other relevant information;
  • Send you communications which you have requested and that may be of interest to you;

We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as you are an active user of the app and keep your personal profile active.

Who has access to your information?

We will not sell or rent your information to third parties. We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. When we use third-party service providers, we disclose only the personal information that we are required to do by law (for example, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime) or to comply with applicable regulations, such as KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) procedures. Please be reassured that we will not release your information to any third parties for them to use for their own direct marketing purposes unless you have explicitly requested us to do so. However, we may transfer your personal information to a third party as part of a sale of some or all our business and assets to any third party, or as part of any business restructuring or reorganization, or as said above, if we’re under a duty to disclose or share your personal data to comply with any legal obligation. In such cases, we will take every step to ensure that your privacy rights continue to be protected.

Your choices

You have a choice about whether you wish to receive information from us. If you do not want to receive direct marketing communications from us, please select the relevant box(es) situated the Settings area of the app. We will not contact you for marketing purposes by e-mail, phone or text message unless you have given your prior consent. Furthermore, we will not contact you for marketing purposes by post if you have indicated that you do not wish to be contacted. You can change your marketing preferences at any time in the Settings area of the app. When required, personal information requests through the forms in our app or by other means will be made in a clear language so that you understand the reasons for our request(s). You will always have the chance to deny supplying us with said information, although, in such cases, we might be prevented from offering you specific content or services.

How can you access and update your information?

The accuracy of your personal information is important to us, and you have the right, if you deem it necessary, to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
